In Bangladesh, DBG Technology BD Ltd. plays a key role in supporting the country’s growing electronics manufacturing ecosystem. As the official manufacturing partner of Xiaomi in Bangladesh, DBG began assembling Xiaomi smartphones in 2021, marking a major milestone in the local production of world-class mobile technology.

Our state-of-the-art facility, originally established in Gazipur, has since been expanded and relocated to Kaliakair Hi-Tech Park in 2024, providing a larger and more advanced space to scale up operations.

We are proud to be the manufacturing force behind Xiaomi’s first “Made in Bangladesh” smartphone – the Redmi 9A, along with several other models under the Redmi line. Our plant is capable of producing approximately 3 million smartphones annually, using advanced Surface Mount Technology (SMT) and high-precision Printed Circuit Board Assembly (PCBA) systems.

PCBA is a critical component of smartphones and other electronic devices—it connects integrated chips and electrical circuits to enable complete product functionality. At DBG Bangladesh, we have successfully localized PCBA manufacturing, contributing to Bangladesh’s technological advancement and self-reliance.
